Ideation

The pre-incubation program is offered to aspiring women seeking to gain knowledge about entrepreneurship, irrespective of whether they possess a startup concept or have developed a  Proof of Concept (PoC) / Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The program in most cases is free as it is sponsored by a partner. The program is designed cohort-wise for a duration of 13 weeks, during which participants will engage in 11 weekly knowledge sessions led by industry experts in a classroom setup, conducted both, virtually and in person. Furthermore, startups receive few required connections, and personalized one-on-one mentoring during the program, culminating with assistance in Udyam registration and on-boarding suitable participants for the incubation program upon the conclusion of the 13 weeks.

Objectives of the Program:

  • Conduct knowledge sessions on entrepreneurship to all aspirants/founders to gain insights into the nuances of the entrepreneurial journey.
  • Validation of startup idea.
  • Provide need-based mentoring assistance to startups with prototype and B-plan.
  • Leverage networking opportunities for startups and help work with in-house incubators.
  • Monthly tracking of the Performance of Entrepreneurs based on their stage”

Incubation

The incubation program is tailored for entrepreneurs in the early stages of their journey. Unlike the pre-incubation phase, it follows an intervention-based model rather than a classroom-based approach.

Entrepreneurs are grouped based on their stage of incubation, and a personalized set of interventions is provided to address their specific needs, delivered through virtual and in-person support channels. These interventions cover a wide range of areas including:

  • Product development
  • Beta testing
  • Company registration
  • Sales and marketing strategies
  • Media exposure
  • Financial planning including funding
  • HR support, and more

The duration of the incubation agreements is typically 3-4 months, during which the dedicated TN Rise team offers exclusive mentoring and tailored support to the startups. Please note that the incubation program is a paid service.

Acceleration

The acceleration program is designed for entrepreneurs who have progressed beyond the initial incubation stage. Similar to the incubation program, it follows an intervention-based approach where entrepreneurs receive personalized support tailored to their specific needs. This support is delivered through a combination of virtual and in-person channels and covers various aspects including product development, sales and marketing strategies, media exposure, networking with industry experts, government relations, export assistance, financial planning including funding, HR support, and more.

Acceleration agreements typically span a duration of 6 months, during which the dedicated TN RISE team provides exclusive mentoring and customized interventions to the participating startups. It’s important to note that the acceleration program is a paid service.

  • Provide startups with exclusive and continuous mentoring assistance throughout the tenure of the agreement.
  • Assisting in rapid scaling up of startups, achieving profitability, accessing new markets, and helping them achieve significant growth within a short time frame.
  • Providing startups access to funding and industry-specific expertise.
  • Leverage networking opportunities for startups with internal and external stakeholders inclusive of connections to potential customers and partners.
  • Providing the startups visibility through apt promotion.
